摘要
Academic Information Literacy Cultivation (ALIC) is essential for college students when they engage in research. However, it is insufficient to meet training of literature retrieval and utilization provided by library course. In this paper, we investigate the needs of antecedents of ALIC with the purpose of improving students' academic search skills through the library curriculum design. Thus we present three antecedents of ALIC and study the correlation between them. Questionnaires of 176 students in one semester are compared before and after their attending the library course for empirical analysis. Tests of the hypothesized relationships are carried out via structural equation model. The results reveal that the students' academic literature retrieval performance concerning academic activity is highly correlated to the introduction of library services into literature retrieval course and is well connected to students' hope of learning skill from course. Moreover, the library anxiety might be an underlying reason as implicit psychological factor cultivation in curricula which deserves further investigation.
