In the treatment of dementia consideration and true coverage of non-cognitive disorders like depression, restlessness, aggressive behaviour or psychotic symptoms ore of particular importance. Definition and clinical relevance of non-cognitive disorders as well as the different non-pharmacological and pharmacological methods of treatment are presented.
