摘要
In this paper, a simulation technique is presented to study the unbalanced operation characteristics of a three-phase auto-transformer with asymmetrical winding parameters. First, the parameters such as winding resistances, impedance and capacitance were derived from the experimental results. Then, an equivalent model was set up based on MATLAB/Simulink. Finally, the unbalanced operation characteristics were then presented and discussed with the asymmetrical impedance and capacitance. The simulation results indicated that three-phase auto-transformers can operate with slight asymmetrical parameters.
