摘要
Depending on the crystallization procedure, the one-pot reaction between 2 C6F5MgBr, 1 BH3 center dot SMe2, and 1 Me3SiCl furnishes the hydridoborate salts [Mg-2(Et2O)(3)Br2Cl] [(C6F5)(2)BH2] and [Mg(Et2O)(2)][(C6F5)(2)BH2](2), both of which are convenient starting materials for the in situ generation of Piers' borane (C6F5)(2)BH.
