摘要
The property of the liquid crystal can be controlled using an electric and a magnetic fields in some range of temperature. The pressure drop is examined when the liquid crystal flows between parallel-plate electrodes for the constant flow rates under the application of the electric and the magnetic fields. The liquid crystal between the transparent electrodes made of glass is visualized with the video camera to investigate the director of the molecular. Relation between the flow visualization results and the change of the pressure drop is investigated.
