Orbital angular momentum supercontinuum generation from near-ultraviolet to infrared in a photonic crystal fiber

摘要
We report the numerical analysis of an MgF2 photonic crystal fiber (PCF) for ultraviolet (UV) supercontinuum (SC) generation of vortices. By pumping with 12.8 nJ energy in the anomalous dispersion region to the right of the zero-dispersion wavelength (ZDW) at the blue side, SC spectrum extending from 315 to 3064 nm at -40 dB is formed, and a strong peak at UV band is caused by dispersive wave (DW) generation. Through reasonably setting the pump conditions and fiber length, the energy proportion of < 400 nm reaches 0.36, which exhibits a high UV energy conversion efficiency.
