Survey and Analysis on Undergraduates' Mental Stressors and Coping Strategies

Currently, Chinese college students are embarrassed by many psychological dangers because of stressors from learning and life. In order to find out effective ways to help the students cope with these stressors, a survey, with the ASLEC (Adolescent life event column) and coping manner survey questionnaire, was conducted on different group of students' mental stressors and copying strategy in Changsha University of Science and Technology and then the differences of the stressors for the students and effects of the coping methods adopted by the students on their psychological health were analyzed. On the basis of the survey and analysis, differences of the mental stressors and adopted coping strategies were found out and accordingly the suitable methods were recommended to cope with encountered different mental stressors for different students.
