摘要：

The article based on the correspondence of a disabled person of the Patriotic War from Achinsk (Krasnoyarsk Territory), examines the perception of a disabled young man who was wounded at the front of his disability, the attitude of society and the state towards him as a disabled person, his family and its problems, the assistance of local authorities in solving them. All this together determined the specifics of the disabled person's daily life and his survival strategy during the war period.
