摘要
The study of the propulsion systems needs a properly comprehension of the phenomena which manage the fluids performance. Usually, a complex fluid field presents difficulties for being visualized and understood with the conventional graphic material. Therefore, the use of additive manufacturing in order to generate three-dimensional models is introduced to make this task more easily understandable. The use of 3D printing is proposed to generate models which include turbomachinery elements with complex geometry, design features with educational interest and three-dimensional fluid structures which fix the geometry context; for instance, vortex regions, shock waves or streamlines.
