摘要
Grounding grid in substation is vital for preserving the safety and reliability of power system, protecting the operator and electrical equipment. The material of grounding grid usually is flat steel in our country, and the grounding grid buried deeply in the ground, making it susceptible to corrosion and failure. A sine wave exciting current of different power frequency was injected directly into grounding grid by two ground lead wires. The distributions of the surface magnetic induction intensities were measured based on the electromagnetic induction theory, and then the fault can be diagnosed. Experimental results show that the method is effective.
