摘要
Due to a relatively low melting point and good formability of Na2O-SiO2-TiO2 with B2O3 (NS-TB), a glass was selected suitably applied on 3D printing (3DP) technique. As a result, a melt-extrusion (ME) module was designed and assembled to print layers of NS-TB glass directly. The ME module consisted of heating and thermal insulation devices, could reach 1100 degrees C at the nozzle by supplying 130 W power so to extrude glass filaments. Thermal insulation of the module was excellent, which was 51 degrees C outside the module while the nozzle was in operation. The extrusion of the glass and the property of capillary viscosity will be reported.
