摘要
In this research, we attempted to increase the abrasion resistance of concrete by adding fibers. Four different types of concrete were cast using plain concrete, carbon fibers concrete, and Polypropylene fibers concrete. And the abrasion resistance of concrete is compared with the ASTM C 944 testing method (rotating-cutter method). Test results show that, the abrasion resistance was also improved by the addition of steel fibers and carbon fibers. The abrasion resistance was better for concrete with carbon fibers than with Polypropylene fibers and plain concrete, but was worse for concrete with carbon fibers than with steel fibers.
