摘要
The purpose of this article is to identify and analyse some effects of migration, highly intensified by the process of globalization, at the individual level. The focus is on the ability of individuals to establish and relate to their own identity, their adaptation to a new cultural environment, and the measure in which they are influenced by the process of acculturation. Theoretical aspects are accompanied by a case study on some adaptation examples of Romanian residents in the area of Bordeaux, France.
