摘要
Pot experiments on soddy-podzolic soil containing different concentrations of sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium chlorides and sulfates showed that the relative height of rye seedlings is inversely proportional to the concentration of soil solution and directly proportional to their osmotic pressure. The parameters of the relationships were different for soil solution concentrations and similar for osmotic pressure. This does not confirm a significant specific physiological effect of different ions on the growth of rye sprouts. Their effect mainly depends on the decrease in water availability to plants due to their interaction with water molecules (hydration).
