摘要
In this research, a comprehensive literature review was conducted over the valorization, utilization, and circular economy of Zn-C batteries after their useful life. The status of this battery waste in Colombia a Latin America is also presented, as well as some case studies conducted in Medellin involving small business enterprises and research at the university level. Therefore, some characterization including scanning electron microscopy and x-ray diffraction was included. Results show the high potential of this waste for using in construction materials, electronic materials, and formulations tailored for agriculture fertilizers.
