摘要
This paper firstly defined economic evaluation of environmental impacts as a process of monetary term quantification of harms and/or benefits caused by environmental impacts of a particular object. Then it conducted literature review in this field in developed countries and described the development of related laws in China. The economic evaluation of the Yangshan Deepwater Port environmental impacts on water and air was performed using human capital method, travel cost method and estimation. The conclusion is that the Port environmental impact has a net negative economic value of RMB13,726,676 annually.
