摘要
Railway electric traction is a dynamic system. The position of the locomotive load is varying continuously along the railway electric traction line. This leads to dynamic voltage and current profile of the traction system. The main aim of this paper is to study the effect of variation of locomotive position and fault positions along the traction lines on the voltage and current values under normal and short conditions. MATLAB Simulink environment is used to evaluate the voltage and current values.
