Universal features of stark structure in the spectra of glasses doped with rare-earth ions

摘要
An analysis of the experimental data on the spectra of glasses doped with rare-earth ions and generalization of the results of statistical simulation of glasses indicate that the Stark structure of spectral bands possesses universal properties. These properties are independent of chemical compositions of glasses and are reproduced by calculations carried out for all versions of the structural stochastic models used. They reflect the specific behavior of states of rare-earth ions in stochastic perturbing fields.
