Long Term Trends in Romanian Higher Education Quality Assurance. Analysing the Institutional (In)Stability Factors

The necessity of coherent educational policies adapted to the Romanian society in continuous transformation is due to the connection of education to the European tendencies and to the general context of globalization. From this perspective, education is the consequence of the adopted laws, and especially of how they are understood, applied and adapted to the peculiarities of society. This aim of this paper is to analyse the way that the concept of quality in higher education is related to a set of indicators and factors that prove, or not, the effectiveness of the educational system.
