摘要
The characteristics of Micro-USM (ultrasonic machining) and micro-ECM (electrochemical machining) are introduced. A new micro-machining technique----ultrasonic combined electrochemical micro-machining is advanced. The combined micro-machining system is built, which machining parameters can be adjusted in a wide ranges. Micro-cathode manufacturing process is studied. Micro-cathodes with different sections are made by combined electro-discharge micro-machining. A series of micro-machining basic tests are carried out. The great blast wave and negative pressure effect produced by ultrasonic vibrating can remove the anode electrolytic passivation membranes produced in micro electrical current density; the micro machining can do continuously. The possibility and the process advantages of the combined technique have been proved.
