摘要
When superplastic behavior in various cation-doped yttria-stabilized zirconia polycrystal (YSZ) was examined, the superplastic flow was found to be highly dependent on cation doping into YSZ. In addition, the high-temperature flow stress in cation-doped YSZ was found to be related to the activation energy for plastic flow. The activation energy changed with the type of doped cation - a smaller ionic radius of cation resulted in lower activation energy. The activation energy was well correlated with the ionic radius of doped cation, probably due to the change in diffusivity with doping.
