摘要：

The application of a Banach algebra technique to the investigation of the stability of a collocation method with respect to the Chebyshev nodes of second kind is discussed. The paper is mainly devoted to the proof of the fact that the operator sequence related to the considered collocation method belongs to a certain Banach algebra. Some first conclusions concerning necessary stability conditions are derived.
