Multiferroic properties and converse magnetoelectric effect in Bi1-xCaxFeO3 ceramics

摘要
Multiferroic Bi1-xCaxFeO3 was prepared by sol-gel method with the rapid thermal process. Ferroelectric and magnetic properties of the samples were studied at room temperature. The remanent polarization and magnetization of Bi0.7Ca0.3FeO3 ceramics are 4 mu C/cm(2) and 0.153 emu/g, respectively. Moreover, converse magnetoelectric effect characterized as electric field-induced magnetization was investigated in Bi0.7Ca0.3FeO3 ceramics. (c) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
