Synthesis, crystal structure, and magnetic analysis of Ni(II) polymer based on N-[(3-pyridine)-sulfonyl]aspartate

摘要
The title coordination polymer [Ni-3(L)(2)(4,4'-bipy)(H2O)(4)](n) (1) (H3L = N-[(3-pyridine)-sulfonyl]aspartate) has been synthesized by hydrothermal synthesis method and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR, and elemental analysis. X-ray diffraction analysis shows that polymer 1 belongs to the orthorhombic system, space group Fdd2, with a = 12.9791(12) angstrom, b = 51.571(4) angstrom, c = 11.3833(11) angstrom, V = 7619.3(12) angstrom(3). The racemization of chiral ligands occurs at high temperature in polymer 1. The 4,4'-bipy bridges two adjacent Ni2+ to form a three-dimensional structure of polymer 1. Furthermore, magnetic measurements show that there are weak antiferromagnetic interactions between the adjacent Ni2+ in polymer 1.
