Solution-adaptive finite-volume method for calculating unsteady shocked flows

摘要
A finite-volume method based on a solution-adaptively moving-grid for unsteady shocked flows its presented in this paper. An elliptic system for solution-adaptive gridding and a finite-volume method formulated on deforming space-time control volume for compressible flow solution are combined through an inner iteration process and solved simultaneously at every time steps. The method is derived for two-dimensional space and validated using simple test problems. Application to an underexpanded jet impingement on a hat plate showed a promising feature of the method.
