Power Electronics Laboratory Education: the JUST Experience

摘要
Power electronics has become increasingly important as more applications are electrified. Application range from personnel mobile electronics, to home appliance, transportation and renewable energy systems to name a few. Advances in power semiconductors technology combined with demand for higher efficiency, faster, compact systems has revolutionized the industry, and created a high demand for power electronic engineers. In this paper, an overview of power electronics laboratory education, teaching methodology and student evaluation at Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) will be presented.
