摘要
This paper presents a methodology for estimating the energy losses due to theft and fraud in electrical distribution systems, which are known as non-technical losses caused by third parties in relation to the activities of the electrical utility. The rates of these losses are obtained by measuring certain variables in electrified randomly selected. Mathematical models for theft and fraud are obtained by means of a multiple linear regression models to develop strategies with a high degree of certainty to control and mitigate these energy losses. A real distribution system is analyzed, the system includes 10 distribution zones, 1,476,564 clients in low voltages and 53,703 electrified sectors.
