Effect of adding rare earth on the properties of Cu-Ag alloys treated by mechanical alloying

摘要
In this paper the technology of mechanical alloying was used to treat Cu-Ag alloy powder, and then Cu-Ag-Re composite was prepared by the method of powder metallurgy. The effect of rare earth adding in the mechanical alloying process of Cu-Ag and the material microstructure, density, hardness and resistivity were studied by the XRD and H800 election microscope. It showed that adding some rare earth to the Cu-Ag powder accelerated the mechanical alloying process of Cu-Ag alloy powder, and the Cu-Ag-Re composite obtained better hardness and conductivity.
