摘要：
A generalized KdV equation with time-dependent coefficients will be studied. The BBM equation with time-dependent coefficients and linear damping term will also be examined. The wave soliton ansatz will be used to obtain soliton solutions for both equations. The conditions of existence of solitons are presented. (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
