摘要
MCM-41 materials were modified with Cr, Fe, Co and Ti by the wet impregnation method. Various techniques including ICP, XRD, N-2 adsorption, UV-Vis DRS and TPR were employed for the catalysts characterization. The Acid Orange 7 (AO7) degradation in aqueous solution was studied over the synthesized photocatalyst under UV-Vis and visible radiation. The Cr modified catalysts exhibited the major activity under UV and visible light. Particularly, the Cr/MCM-41 sample reached a dye degradation of around 81% in visible light, being the Cr6+ species primarily responsible for this photoactivity. Upon the loading of TiO2, the searched heterojunction effect between chromium and titania species was not observed.
