3-D finite element analysis of permanent-magnet motor excited from square pulse voltage source

摘要
This paper describes a new method for the 3-D computation of the permanent-magnet motor excited from the voltage source. The method has advantages that the 3-D mesh as well as the driving electric circuit is changed automatically according to the movement of armature. Our method is applied to the rotatning analysis of the IEEJ model excited from the square pulse voltage source. The results calculated by the 3-d analysis are compared with the results by the 2-D analysis. The validity of the new method is confirmed by the experiments.
