摘要
This paper describes the isolation and structure elucidation, besides the capsaicins, of metabolites from n-butanolic extract of Capsicum annuum L. var. acuminatum. Four classes of polar compounds were identified: acyclic diterpene glycosides, various phenolic metabolites, flavonol glycosides and furostanol saponins. The extracts obtained from Capsicum were tested on insect pests infesting stored products and showed different attractive/repellent effects on various species.
