摘要：
The role of measurement and automation in the framework of information processing for industrial production exceeds by far the areas of sensor or control technology. Among others, this role is influenced by strategic decisions of enterprises on markets and products. This paper discusses the position of measurement and automation and the related development trends in the context of the INTERKAMA '95. Current international standardization activities in this field are mentioned.
