摘要
Persistent spectral hole-burning phenomena are observed in semiconductor nanocrystals. the nanocrystal systems are applicable to optical data storage devices as well as nonlinear optical devices. We demonstrate the persistence of spectral holes and frequency-domain optical data storage using CuCl semiconductor nanocrystals embedded in glass and in a NaCl host crystal.
