摘要
Carbohydrates exert a wide range of functions in living organisms. Due to the wide distribution of metal and their complex functions for all forms of life, metal-carbohydrate interactions are a key for understanding bioinorganic chemistry. This review focuses on carbohydrate complexes of platinum-group metals where coordination-chemical aspects of isolated and well-characterized complexes are brought into focus.
