摘要
To be successful in today's rapid and complex changes, innovation is the only option for maintaining growth and competitiveness. Organizations actually need to become "smart", i.e. internetworked, knowledge driven, learning as well as agile in their ability to create home-grown innovative ideas and exploit external opportunities. However, generating creative and useful ideas with the greatest bottom line potential for implementation remains a challenging and crucial organizational task. In order to improve innovation performance especially the good quality of submitted content, we suggest a novel system based on the integration of recommender systems. In this paper, we initially give an overview of organizational innovation and present the concept behind a smart organization. Then we identify the challenges in idea generation stage and present a new qualitative approach to overcome its limitations and be able to well-manage this stage. Next, we expand the global architecture of the suggested system which uses recommendation in the first key activity of the Front End of innovation, in order to assist organizations to improve their ways of generating new ideas.
