摘要
European Union legislation designed to limit worker's exposure to electromagnetic radiation will hinder research involving the use of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The Physical Agents Directive sets legal limits on electromagneticradiation exposure across a range of frequencies, including those used in MRI. The new Directive must be enacted into law by 2008.
