摘要：
Red colored 2,6-disubstituted push-pull aminoazulenecarboxylates were prepared in very good yields from 2,6-azulenedicarboxylate, the key compound in this synthesis, which was prepared in four steps from 2-indancarboxylic acid. Effects of the push-pull substituents on the azulenes were analyzed by NMR and UV-visible spectroscopy.
