摘要：

Mamillisphaeria dimorphospora (Melanommatales) is described from north Queensland from wood submerged in freshwater. M. dimorphospora has also been collected in Brunei and Malaysia. Mamillisphaeria can be accommodated in the Melanommataceae or the Massariaceae, but differs from previously described genera in having dimorphic hyaline and brown-celled ascospores. A discussion of the occurrence and role of dimorphic ascospores is given.
