摘要
Precision forging is an important manufacturing procedure of steel synchronizer gear ring forming. The forming process is analyzed by FEM software DEFORM_3D. The important factors those influence on the gear's precision forming process are studied and the results are verified in practice. The results show that the size of billet, temperature, and thickness of web influence the forming quality of steel synchronizer gear ring mainly.
