Upper critical field and electronic heat-capacity coefficient of the AlB2-type ternary silicide YbGa1.1Si0.9

摘要
The upper critical field H-C2(0) and the electronic heat-capacity coefficient. have been investigated in the AlB2-type ternary rare-earth silicide YbGa1.1Si0.9. H-C2(0) has been estimated to be 9.3(9) kOe from the magnetic field dependence of electrical resistivity at various constant temperatures. gamma has been estimated to be 12 mJ/Yb mol K-2 based on the specific heat measurements, which is slightly larger than gamma of AlB2-type ternary alkaline-earth silicides.
