摘要：

This paper reviews the reform history of China's Power sector, and evaluates its reform conversion process with a focus of deregulated electricity market based on the literatures and other European countries' experience. Furthermore, the current China's electricity industry is investigated by using the SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats). The research results show that, after a series of reform actions, China's Power sector has shifted from an absolute monopoly to a relative monopoly. This paper conducts four strategic recommendations for the acceleration of China's power sector reform and the stability of its electricity market in a deregulated environment.
