摘要
With the wide adoption of XML, a fundamental need is to provide an easy-to-understand, easy-to-use, and powerful query system for the advanced use of XML over the Internet. This paper describes our design and implementation of an XML query system based on a novel declarative XML query language XML-RL. It not only provides a very simple but expressive query language for retrieving XML information, but also allows advanced processing of XML documents, such as logic deduction, integration, and transformation.
