摘要
Simple shear is prevalent in slide surfaces in many geotechnical problems. The capacities of a recent anisotropic elastoplastic model for simulating the undrained torsional simple shear tests on Kaolin clay were evaluated in the paper. The stress-strain, stress paths and strength simulations were generally agree well with the experimental results. This further validated that the recent model is applicable to various modes of shearing on clays.
