Study on the spectroscopy of two flavonyl glycosides from Andrographis paniculata

To study the bioactive constituents from Andrographis paniculata, two compounds were isolated and purified by column chromatography on AB-8 macroporous adsorption resin and polyamide. The structures were determined by various spectroscopic data, including UV, FABMS, H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, DQFCOSY, TOCSY, HMQC, HMBC and NOESY. The 1H NMR and C-13 NMR signals of these two compounds were assigned. The structures of these two compounds were elucidated as 5,4'-dihydroxy-7-methoxyflavon-6-yl-beta-D-pyranoglucoside and 5,4'-dihydroxy-7-methoxyflavon-8-yl-beta-D-pyranoglucoside, respectively.
