The advantages of transthoracic robotic first rib resection are uncontested exposure of the anatomy of the thoracic outlet and freedom from any neurovascular retraction. The technique of robotic first rib resection is distilled here in a patient with neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome. © 2020 The Society of Thoracic Surgeons
