摘要：

The risk to construct a high RCC dam is much higher than that to construct a medium-sized or low RCC dam due to the differences between their loads and resistances, and the design of high RCC dam is also different. Therefore, the special requirements for design of high RCC dam such as design principles, method and criterion for safety evaluation, dam materials, structure detail design, construction technique and quality control were brought forward in this paper, on the chance of providing valuable suggestions for design and construction of high RCC dam.
