The study found that the role of transportation is mainly manifested in the following four aspects: First, transportation development is conducive to infiltration of the concept of "state" and encourages ethnic integration. Second, the development of the transportation laid a solid foundation to consolidate the state power and achieve national unity. Thirdly, the continuous improvement of the transportation network has expanded the competition of geopolitics, and played an important role for the change of world political pattern.
