摘要
The chemical composition of solid wood was investigated using the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The chemical changes occuring due to weathering, fungal decay, and chemical treatment were analyzed. Infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) confirmed the stabilization of cross linkages between glyoxyl and cellulose due to glycol.
