摘要
The reactivity of using CuO as oxygen carrier during coal chemical-looping combustion has been investigated using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Experimental results showed that CuO showed highly reactivity in reduction by coal, CuO can initiate the reduction reaction at 600 degrees C. With increasing reaction temperature and addition of oxygen carrier, the coal conversion rate increases, the optimum reaction temperature was about 800 degrees C and CuO excess coefficients was 1.5 would be suitable. High levels of CO2 could increase efficiency of gasification, this was beneficial to coal chemical-looping combustion. CuO oxygen carrier was more suited to reaction with high coalification degree and low volatile coal. The study of coal chemical-looping combustion focuses on increasing efficiency of reduction and developing high performance of oxygen carrier.
